This smoothie is made with bananas for tryptophan & potassium that promote relaxation. Destoned cherries and almond butter for the provision of melatonin, the hormone that aids with sleep. Oats, help to balance blood sugar levels and prevent waking during the night and you may add additional supplements such as collagen (support muscle repair) and glutamine (to nourish the gut).
10 de-stoned cherries or you can use tart Cherry juice and cut back on the plant based milk
1tbsp almond butter
1/4 cup - oats
3/4 unsweetened plant based milk
Blend all ingredients together and enjoy just before bed.
