4 Pre-cooked beetroots
200g dark chocolate
1 tbsp raw cacao powder
1 apple, cored
255g gluten free flour
100g organic butter
Preheat oven to 180degC, gas mark 4 or 356degF.
Place beetroot, butter (chopped) and chocolate(chopped) in to a blender and mix until a smooth paste develops. You may need to stir the ingredients a few times to get them to blend thoroughly.
Add eggs and honey and blend again.
Lastly add flour, raw cacao powder and chopped apple. Blend to a smooth mixture and pour into a pre-greased baking tray.
Bake for 4 mins or until you can poke a pick in the centre of the mixture and it comes away dry/clean.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 2hours before slicing and serving.
